1000 Guineas

This race looks Rainbow View`s for the taking in theory. But i`ve always had a feeling since the Autumn that she was vulnerable and opposable at short odds. My original selection is a non-runner (Proportional) and as a big Jim Bolger fan i`ve sided with Cuis Ghaire at decent odds. She ran well behind Rip Van Winkle last July carrying a penalty and at around the 16/1 mark is worth a small investment.

2000 Guineas

My main selection for this year`s race is Mastercraftsman. I remember being most impressed when he won the Phoenix Stakes on fast ground last summer. He drifted for the Guineas after disappointing in the Lagardere but for me he was done for the season after winning the National Stakes on heavy ground in September. I think he has the best form on offer and I began backing him for Newmarket in October when he was 14 on Betfair.
My other bets on the race are on Crowded House (now a non-runner) and Rip Van Winkle. I think Delegator is a really bad favourite (his Craven form more akin to Adagio than Haafhd imo) and has to be opposed.
